Adobe Flash Security Hole Being Exploited, Researchers Say
The US-CERT computer security advisory service warned on Wednesday that a vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player 9 is being actively exploited to install malicious software on computers that haven't installed the relevant security patch.
The vulnerability, which affects systems including Windows and Mac OS X, could allow an attacker to take control of the computer or cause it to crash if the user opens specially crafted Flash content, according to the advisory.
The fix an be downloaded from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.
