Learn how to create award winning graphics for you website, using inexpensive software

Lets start by opening SwishMax, set you movie size to 788 x 585 and importing an image of a car

Step. 1

Select the Bezier tool from the tools panel find a straight starting point on the image.

Probable the underneath of the car is a good place to start.

Now click to create you first anchor point, now proceed to follow the outline

Of the image like in Fig.1 below. note the image has been removed so the lines can be seen clearly.

Repeat the process until you have gone all the way around the image, its a little like dot 2 dot

But you are creating the dots. You should have something like Fig.2 Below

Once you have the body filled in create the cars inner arches. you should have something like Fig.3 below.

Now trace around the windows using the same process. and you should have something looking like Fig.4 below

Trace around the front Bumper/Fender, lights and grill, and now begin to build the wheels using the Ellipse tool until you have something looking like Fig.5

You can pick out some highlights of the car now to start giving it some definition.

You should end up with something looking like Fig.6 below.

Comment

At this stage you should now have something resembling what you are doing. You project should be starting to come together.

Start to add the highlights to the wheels like in Fig,7 below.

Once you have completed the front and back wheel, move onto adding the highlights to the front Bumper/Fender, Lights and Grill.

Using the Bezier tool you should now have something looking like Fig.8 below.

Now for the interior of the car, select the Bezier tool and start to draw around the front screen interior one piece at a time like in Fig.9 below.

You should now have something looking like Fig.10 below.

Using the same technique, now create the side view interior. Until you have something looking like Fig.11 below.

That's it all done i hope you are happy with the outcome of your image.
