Happy Easter Postcard (Part 1)
Begin your work by creating a new file (File>New), having 1280x1024 px and 72 dpi. There will be selected the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill the new file with the color #F8E183
Next step select the Custom Shape Tool (U) to represent the rays on the picture of the color #EBA341
Create a new layer, marking out the rays' layers and the new one, holding on Ctrl button (press Ctrl+E) Select the next solution for the combined layer: Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur
Choose the Ellipse Tool (E) to draw the sun, colored with #FFF7A4
Blending Options>Outer Glow
Create a new layer on which should be applied a standard brush of black color for drawing the horizon.
On the next layer we'll use the same brush, applied recently to represent the grass glade, setting the necessary parameters on the tools' panel:
Choose again the Ellipse Tool (U) to picture this time an Easter egg. Its shape may be changed with the Convert Point Tool, having the color #313797
The Rectangle Tool (U) is necessary to use for representing an ornament on the egg. Applying Free Transform option, it's possible to incline a little the ornament on the right side. The layer's color is #F26D2C
The layer's parameters: Blending Options>Stroke
Press Alt button and make a mouse click between the ornament's layers and the egg's layer (on the layers' panel).
Make two copies of the new made layer and select Free Transform solution to place the copies as below. Move off the layer's effects from the layers – copies.
Apply the earlier operation when making a mouse click between the layers while pressing Alt button.
Continue representing the ornament by choosing again the Rectangle Tool (U) and picture a stripe, colored with #FFC706. Select Free Transform option to incline the stripe to the right side and then select Add Anchor Point Tool to insert several tops as it is shown on the next image. The Convert Point Tool will be helpful in drawing a wavy stripe.
Press Alt button and make a mouse click between the layers (on the layers' panel).
Next we'll choose again the Custom Shape Tool (U) to introduce on the made ornament several flowers:
Press Alt button and make a mouse click between the layers (on the layers' panel).
Make three copies of the earlier represented primary egg's layer and apply Free Transform selection to change the copies' sizes, their inclining direction and the copies' placement on the picture.
Select again the Ellipse Tool (U) to draw the ornament on the Easter egg.
Press Alt button and make a mouse click between the ornament's layers and the basic egg's layer (on the layers' panel).
