1. Open a new document in Photoshop, and fill the background with black. Double click on the background layer to unlock it, open the Layer Style window and add a Gradient Overlay.
2. Download this image with the Nokia Aeon phone. Use Pen Tool, Color Range, Magic Wand, or whatever tool you prefer to select the hand and the phone from the picture and delete the rest.
3. Download a splatter set of brushes (click here to download the brushes which I used) and use one of them on new layer bellow the phone layer. Add a gradient overlay for the splatter layer. Press Ctrl + G to put this layer inside a folder and set the blend mode for the folder to Color Dodge.
4. Now we are going to create some stars.Create a new layer above the folder, fill it with black then go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise and use the settings from the next image. Press Ctrl + L to open the Levels window and put the settings from the next image. Go to Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal All and use a black brush to mask some parts of this layer. Set the blend mode for this layer to Screen.
5. Create a new folder (Layer > New > Group) and rename it intro ‘abstract’. Download this brushes and paint with them. Use each brush on a new layer and place all these layers inside the abstract folder. Set the blend mode for the folder to Linear Dodge and the opacity to 30%. Click on the next image to see how I got this result.
6. Double-click on the abstract folder, then select Duplicate Group. Place this group bellow the original one. Hold Ctrl and click all the layers inside this group to select them, then press Ctrl + E to merge them.
7. Add a 1 pixel Gaussian Blur for the layer inside the folder. Set the blend mode for the folder to Color Dodge and the opacity to 100%.
8. Duplicate the abstract folder and press Ctrl + E to transform it intro one layer. Place the layer bellow the ‘abstract copy’ folder, then go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and use the settings from the next image. Open the Layer Style window, then apply a Gradient Overlay. The gradient I used is called Dark Spectrum. Set the blend mode for this layer to Normal and the opacity to 100%.
9. Duplicate again the abstract folder and press Ctrl + E to transform it intro one layer. Place the layer bellow the abstracts folders, then go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and use the settings from the next image. Apply the same Gradient Overlay, like you did on the previous step. Set the blend mode for this layer to Normal and the opacity to 100%.
10. Create a new layer above the phone layer, and fill it with black. Go to Filter > Render > Lens Flare and use the settings from the next image. Set the blend mode for this layer to Screen.
11. Duplicate the phone layer, place the copy layer bellow the original one, then go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and use the settings from the next image. Place the layer inside a folder by pressing Ctrl + G, and change the blend mode for the folder to Color Dodge.
12. Create a new layer and place it inside a folder. Set the blend mode for the folder to Color Dodge, then select Brush Tool, go to Window > Brushes and use the settings from the next image to create some sparkles.
This is my final result:
Thank you guys.
