Wii Mote Controller

Step 1: Let's start out by creating a new file. I used a 300x500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Now create a new layer set and name it 'Wii Controller'.

Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and above your screen under the options palette choose Fill Pixels, set the radius to 20 px and check anti-aliased. In a new layer draw a long rounded rectangle with 78x280 px dimensions and #F8F8F8 color shade.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Satin, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to the light gray rounded rectangle layer.

Step 3: Add a marquee selection around the top end of your rounded rectangle then go to Edit > Copy. Go back to Edit > Paste, a new layer with the top end design from the rounded rectangle should appear on your canvas. Move this layer as shown on the picture below.

Step 4: In a new layer draw a thin rectangle with a #BDBDBD color shade and 52 x 3 px dimensions.

Step 5: On the bottom of the controller draw 3 little squares with #6B6B6E color shade next to each other. Then add another little square with #00FFFB color shade.

Step 6: Now choose the Horizontal Type Tool and set the font family to Arial, bold, 14 pt, crisp and #8D8D8D color shade. In a new text layer type "Wii" on the bottom end of the controller.

Step 7: In a new layer draw a small white circle with 12 x 12 px dimensions. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options.

Step 8: In a new layer draw a very small circle with a light gray shade inside the button circle. Then make another circle button design on top of the first.

Step 9: Now draw a couple of small gray circles in a pattern shown below. Set the color of the top and bottom circles to a lighter shade so it has that fading look.

Step 10: Add three more buttons above the circle patterns.

Step 11: In a new layer draw a bigger white circle with 28 x 28 px dimensions on the center of the controler. Then under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Satin and Stroke blending options. Now set the layer's blending mode to Darken.

Select the Horizontal Type Tool with font Arial, bold 14 pt and black color shade. In a new text layer type 'A' on the larger button.

Step 12: Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and above your screen under the options palette choose Fill Pixels, set the radius to 2 px and check anti-aliased. In a new layer draw two rounded rectangle with #E8E9EB color shade shaped into a cross. Then under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options.

In a new layer draw 1px gray lines on each side of the cross.

Step 13: On the top left corner of the controller add a small button with a red dot inside. This will be the power button, add a very tiny 'power' text below the button.

Step 14: Create a new layer and draw a rounded rectangle with 32x34 px dimensions and #E8E9EB color shade under the controller.

Step 15: Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to the rounded rectangle layer from step fourteen.

Step 16: Make a wire coming out of the controller, first set your brush size to a 13 soft brush. Then set the foreground color to #F8F9FD color shade. Now select the Pen Tool with paths on and create a random path lines connected from the bottom of the wii controller.

Once you have a path on screen right click your mouse on the canvas to access an option box , select Stroke Path use the settings below.

Step 17: Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Stroke blending options to your wire layer.
