Creating a Funny Ghost Animation

Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.

Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown.

Enable add to shape area from the top bar. Create "Blob 1" shape using custom shape tool.

Duplicate the path. Press Ctrl+T. Right click and select Flip Horizontal and place on the other side.

Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar. Create some ellipses using elliptical shape tool.

Create mouth of the ghost using pen tool.

Create a random shape using pen tool.

Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click and select Flip Horizontal and place on the other side.

Open animation window. For the first frame hide the duplicate layer.

Duplicate frame. Move the ghost layer to the right edge as shown.

Click tween button from animation window. Apply settings as shown.

For 8th frame hide this layer and unhide the duplicate layer. Duplicate frame and for this 9th frame move the ghost to left edge. Now tween the frames as explained above.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
