Creating an Animated Mailer to Promote a Discount or Scheme

Start by creating a new document.

Apply red to black gradient in radial mode.

Press Q to enable quick mask. From filter menu select "Texture>>Stained Glass ". Apply settings as shown.

Press Q again to disable quick mask.

Create a new layer and fill it any color.

Change the layer mode to "Color Dodge " and opacity to 50%.from the layer palette.

Create a black rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Create some other rectangles as shown.

Add some custom shape to create an interesting background.

Type details over the bottom black rectangle. Type "Click here" over the small rectangle.

Duplicate the "Click here" layer and fill it with some other color as shown.

Type rest of the details in separate layers.

Open animation window. For the first frame hide all the details layer except one. Hide one of the "Click here" layer.

Duplicate frame. Hide the first "click here" layer and unhide the second one.

Duplicate both the frames several times. Select 9th frame. Hide the first detail layer and unhide the second.

Similarly add more details.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
