Making Grids in Paint Shop Pro

Start with any image, and open it up in paint shop pro. I am using the one below.

Now go to file>>new, and create a new image with a transparent background, and make it anywhere from 3-8 pixels, depending on how large you want your grid to be. Use the 5X zoom on this image until you have a good view of it. Grab the draw tool (below the text tool) and draw lines similar to below. White looks best.

After you have done that, go back to your original image. Above the text tool, click on the flood fill tool. To the right side of the page, click on the arrow to the right side of the box below the colours. Select pattern.

When pattern is selected, click on the box when a pattern comes up. Click the pattern box under "current pattern" and find your grid. Select it, and press OK.

Go to layers>>new raster layer, and hit OK. Now go to layers>>properties and set the opacity at around 25-45%. Hit OK. With the fill tool still selected, fill your picture with the grid. You're done!
