1. This is a simple tutorial with no artistic interpretation like airbrushing - just follow the tutorial and enjoy. Start off with a medium sized canvas (I'm using 400x400) and create your text.
Hold ctrl/cmd and click on the layer containing your text to select the whole layer. Then create a new layer by pressing ctrl/cmd + shift + N, and reduce your selection by going Select || Modify || Contract and entering a value of around 3, depending on the size of your image. Go Edit || Fill or use the fill tool (G) to fill your selection with a lighter blue. I will use #0682C2, which is again taken from the QuickTime logo.
2. Now make sure you have your top layer selected - the one you just filled. Go Layer || Layer Style || Bevel and Emboss and enter these settings:
The size, as usual, depends on your canvas size; the size I have used is suitable for my 400x400 canvas.
Finally, you can add a 1px stroke of dark blue with Layer || Layer Style || Stroke - I am using #0852A5.
3. That's pretty much it. You could add a drop shadow as in the picture, I have used the default settings.
