Here's a quick and easy way to create circular patterns. There are endless possibilities on what could turn out, so give it a shot.

1. Open up a new document 400 x 400 pixels. Create a New Layer and draw out a shape with the pen tool. This can be any shape, the wilder the shape the crazier the pattern will turn out in the end.

Once your finished drawing your shape right click inside the shape, press Make Selection, then press ok. Now you should have a outline of your shape. Fill this outline in using the Paint Bucket Tool (G) with the color of your choice.

2. Now that you have your shape it's time to create your pattern. press CTRL + T to go into transform mode.

Now in the squares to the top left select the one on the right, and change the angle at which you would like your shape to rotate at. This will effect the way your pattern looks in the end.

Once finished inputting those values press Return (Enter)
